iOS5 downloaded through iTunes ... is it still somewhere on my MBP?

OK guys, please bear with me here and forgive me if these are stupid questions.

I upgraded my iPhone 4 to iOS5 last night. I downloaded all the updates to Lion and iTunes on my MBP, and then iTunes backed up my iPhone and downloaded iOS5. Thankfully all went well and I'm now enjoying iOS5 on my iPhone 4!!

So here are my questions:

1. Is my iPhone backup saved somewhere on my MBP? If so, where? Is it ok to delete this backup (to free up space on my MBP)?

2. Is the iOS5 that I downloaded in iTunes last night somewhere on my MBP? If so, where? Is it ok to delete this?
