with iOSs < 5, my iPhone would always auto-connect to my home's wifi. Now, I'm noticing sometimes that my iPhone will not auto-connect to my home's wifi when I get out of my lockscreen; it'll only connect back to wifi when i go to settings>wifi (then it auto-selects my home network).

anyone else experience this? any way to fix this?

should not need that as long as you have connected before. The ask to join is to ask about new wifi spots. ones you have connected to will connect automatically. When I went to work my 4s connected to my wifi on it's own because of the restore. but I noticed today it would not reconnect on it's own like it should have.
