Is it possible to load Apple's iOS 5 on an Android phone such as the new Motorola Razr or perhaps a Bionic? I've been trying to do some searching to see if it's possible, but not a lot of info popping up so I thought I'd try and get some help or answers here.

Are you sure? I've seen a few Youtube videos that clearly shows the iOS 5 running on another phone. I believe it was an HTC phone.

There are a variety of iOS themes and launchers on the Android Market. This is most likely what you saw.

YouTube shows iOS4 running on an HTC phone. Since most Android phones can't even be made to run the latest version of Android, I'm skeptical (not that the stuff on YouTube isn't always true). If it was something that could be done easily I think you would have heard more about it.

But what's the point? If you want a phone that can run iOS4 you can get one free from AT&T.

I like the look and feel of the new Motorola Razr, but would love to be able run or have it operate similar to the iOS 5.

I don't think anything easy. If someone did manage to make it work, it would be a MAJOR hack.

So let me get this right, people get an Android phone and make it look like an iPhone?

Its nothing new. People get iPhones and run Android themes or BlackBerrys and run iPhone themes....etc. Its like buying a new outfit.

Well plenty of people get their iPhone and update apps/themes to look like Android so.....

As far as running it on Android, it was most likely a theme on the Android Market, just like there are Android and Windows themes on Cydia for the iPhone.

No.

So it is possible to some extent? Could you point me in the right direction to what I needed to do?

You've got to root whatever phone you have, then flash the MIUI ROM.

If you use ROM Manager from the market, just look for the latest version of MIUI. It's pretty popular, so the updated versions are always in there.

You can even get a theme that will give you the lock screen and icons.
