iOS5 syncing problems.

Wether I'm syncing wireless over wifi, or have my phone directly connected to my computer, I always get stuck at "Syncing artwork to 'xxxxxxxx Iphone' (step 6 of 6) --waiting for items to copy". It's been at this for over an hour now, and still no progress. What do I need to do to fix this?

I'm connected directly and the whenever I'm doing a sync, it never finishes step 6 of 6 for some reason. The items I wanted to sync though always end up on my Iphone just fine.

Has it always done that for you also? Because I've had it sync just fine before a few days ago, with my last successful sync being Tuesday at 8:54am. Since then, its always error'd at the end, and has never finished. I always have to cancel the sync through my phone. If I cancel it through iTunes, it'll just sit there saying "canceling sync" until I either eject the phone, or cancel it on the phone itself.

ever since iOS 5 I have had sync problems/issues.

it continually says syncing XX files of 87. every few minutes and it goes through the numbers very quickly...whether plugged in or via WiFi.

some songs and their artwork are still not there...they show up but don't play the songs, just remain at 0:00.

Have you tried unchecking the "sync music" option in itunes, and syncing the phone so it removes it, then re-rechecking it and syncing it again? I have had a few issues with some select songs not adding and I believe this had resolved it.

You can also try manually managing your music and not having it sync. I do that and I haven't had a single issue with album art not copying over.

yes. whenever I sync my phone now it never finishes. the error messages vary; sometimes it's "waiting for items to copy" while syncing genius data, other times it's album artwork, etc. every time it stops and does nothing and doesn't
complete. I have photos on my phone that I can't delete because the sync never finishes and iTunes never deletes the photos. also some songs are missing album artwork that never gets copied. there are a lot of threads on apples support site about these issues
