Has there been a solution found for the jailbreak tool so that it works on 10.6.8? I have been looking everywhere and found nothing. I find stuff about how to change this or that and that nothing works. Has anyone found a way for it to work other than upgrading the OS?

Why not just update your OS. Are you on an older Mac??

Im on a MacBook pro 4,1. Updating for a jailbreak isn't something id like to do. SL works great on here but id rather not slow it down anymore than it already is.

Your condescending tone won't gather you help. It is a legitimate advice given the fact that you wish not to update your OS.

Take it or leave it. But being an arse won't help you.

Your legitimate advice is still useless. At least others have said something useful like "use VM."

This is precisely why I don't get on here anymore. Teens and forum addicts posting to up their post count.

Ah, gotcha. A friends or family members PC is probably going to be your easiest solution.

I do believe Ill just do it on boot camp or maybe parallels. Unfortunately the only other computer I have is my wifes 13" MPB with SL. She would freak if I updated that to Mav.
