So when I installed the iOS9 PB I was sorta forced into activating two factor authentication. No big deal I thought.

After a cpl of days I decided to go back to iOS 8.4 since some of the apps I use on a daily basis do not work with iOS 9 yet. Problem is - when you go back to iOS8.x the verification codes sent by the system for whatever reason do not arrive on your phone anymore. So I couldn't even set up my iCloud account on the 8.4 phone and was already scared I was locked out of my account forever.

But then I thought "Let me go back to iOS9 and see if the codes arrive again and if they do I will log into MyAppleID and turn the two factor pain in my ass off". Sure enough after iOS9 was back on the phone the codes were coming in again. Yay! But here's the problem - when I log into the AppleID website I get rerouted to the new (and probably shiny) "Apple ID beta" website - and there is NO WAY TO TURN THE FREAKING TWO FACTOR AUTHENTICATION OFF! You can add trusted devices, etc but you cannot turn the damn thing off :(

So does that mean I am stuck now with iOS9 because of that reason or does someone have any idea how to fix this for me?

Thanks so much!

M.

From https://developer.apple.com/support/two-factor-authentication/ :
Can I turn off two-factor authentication after I have enrolled?
During the public beta, you will be able to turn off two-factor authentication using a link at the bottom of your enrollment confirmation email. Clicking the link will restore your Apple ID to its previous security settings, including your previous security questions. This link will be active for two weeks after you enroll in two-factor authentication. Please note that your enrollment confirmation email may be sent to your Apple IDemail address or your rescue email address.

also in the support document, it mentions being able to send an text message to a registered trusted phone number for anybody else in a similar situation in the future.

I'm in exactly the same situation, except I don't have the enrollment email. Nothing has been sent to my email address registered with the apple ID. I can log in to manage my apple id by accepting a phone call, and I can add a second trusted phone number, but when I try and log in on iOS8.4 on my iphone, I cannot select where the text message goes, and nothing arrives.

Edit, I can't even seem to re-register with iOS9 Beta as I can't get past the login page on beta.apple.com. I don't get any call or SMS to verify the login.
