Ok so I have been testing the added bluetooth keyboard functionality in iOS9 and it's a good start, however there is still lots missing! Please add your feature requests below and i'll do my best to add them to the list...

System Wide

  • More Scrolling (arrow keys) in apps, such as;
    • Photos
    • Calendar
    • iTunes
    • App Store
    • Music
    • iBooks
    • iCloud Drive
    • Facetime (call list)
    • etc
Third party API for simple keyboard functionality such as scrolling (pages, lists and content areas), "enter" and "esc" key navigation and shortcuts.

  • List and content navigation
    • Arrow keys to scroll (up/down) a list
    • "Enter" to select content, "esc" to return to list
    • Arrows to scroll content when an content area is selected
    • (Examples below)


Homescreen

  • Arrows (left/right) to scroll springboard pages
  • Arrows (up/down) to access spotlight search
  • Notification Center shortcut
  • Notification Center Scrolling with arrow keys
  • Control Center Shortcut
  • Control Center area specific shortcuts such as bluetooth, wifi, airplane mode etc
  • App Switcher shortcut
  • App Switcher scrolling (right/left arrows)
  • App Switcher hand off apps pull up (up arrow)

Mail

  • Arrow keys to scroll (up/down) email list
  • "Enter" to select email, "esc" to return to email list
  • Arrows to scroll email content when an email is selected
Messages
  • Arrow keys to scroll (up/down) messages list
  • "Enter" to select message, "esc" to return to message list
  • Arrows to scroll message content when an message is selected
  • Shortcut to access "details" and arrows to scroll "details" page
  • Shortcut to send photo and arrow keys to navigate photo picker interface
  • Shortcut to enter edit mode ("more")
  • Delete (backspace) key to delete a message thread
Notes
  • Arrow keys to scroll (up/down) notes list
  • "Enter" to select note, "esc" to return to notes list
  • Arrows to scroll note content when an note is selected
  • Shortcuts for bulleted, dashed and numbered lists

Contacts
  • Arrow keys to scroll (up/down) contacts list
  • "Enter" to select contact, "esc" to return to contact list
  • Arrows to scroll contact content when a contact is selected

I gave it a don't care but that's not 100% right. I just don't care enough to say Hell Yes. I use an Apple Bluetooth keyboard with my iPad occasionally when I have a long list of calendar items to update or a document to work on but really don't mind using the touch screen for most of my interaction and the keyboard for faster typing. I would accept more options gladly and do use basic shortcuts for copy/paste and or undo but can't possibly remember every combo since this is not a daily use item for me.

So, I support your want for more features if this is something you would like to use more of but can't really say I am overly excited personally one way or the other.
