iPhone ios9 issue no network can't restore

Hi,

From this morning I can't send texts, use apps that require internet etc on wifi or 3G / 4G. I can receive calls.

I have tried various things, including

• reset network settings
• reset all

Reset all failed on authentication as can't connect to Apple. Reset network completed but had no effect.

Plugged into iTunes and attempted restore but the requirement to disable find my iPhone on my 5s first fails (well it just hangs) preventing the restore from proceeding.

My phone is bricked. Any ideas anyone?

Recovery mode restore of a DFU restore? Upon completion it will be activation locked, but you should just be able to sign in to iCloud and it will unlock.

I have found out its the latest Tunnel Bear VPN profile / app that was causing the connectivity issue. I have deleted the profiles and its now working. Hmmm.
