iPhone iOS9 on 6s Plus thinking of trying out ios12

My iOS9 is working perfectly fine and all the needed apps are still functioning just fine. When Skype, Whatsapp and my banking applications stop then its red alert to update. Should I upgrade to ios12. I feel once Google Maps on Carplay is deployed, its a must have for my car.

Currently not so much as Apple Maps does not work in the country I am currently.

A 6S on iOS9 is a somewhat scarce and desireable item. I'd think the premium it would garner would make it a mistake to update to iOS12.

My phone is in perfect condition. I replaced the battery as well with ifixit. Has no dings.
It is unlocked with ios 9.3.2. I have never jailbroken it though as everything just works.
I will probably sell it in that case on ebay. It is going for about 500ish
