Hi

I'm running the PB2 and on my iPhone 6 and it was pretty good on PB1 with no major issues.

The issue I have now with PB2 is with Apple Music and the radio tab. Every time I try and access it, I get a message that I'm offline and that I should try and connect to the Internet.

It's the same on 3G, 4G and WiFi and all other aspects of Apple Music work perfectly.

Anyone else with the same issue or have a solution?

Thanks

Jason

Same here. I think it's related to my work wifi though.
After turning wifi off and closing the music app a few times it usually works for me.
How is your News app working? Mine crashes every time I try to update the feed.

PB1 was working a lot more stable on those two accounts.

PB2 sucks. Way more buggy for minimalistic enhancements. I may downgrade to be honest its that's annoying. I've got same issues both of you are mentioning

Only way I found to make the News app working, is if you open it through the suggested news articles on the search screen. But once you go out of that article to the main page, it crashes. PB3 can't come soon enough!

Another thing to add, when I'm in articles linked from the search window, all my bottom icons in the News app are grayed out and cannot be toggled on.

I'm based in the U.K. So I don't have the news app

With my iPad Air PB2 iOS 9, I had no issues listening to Apple Music. Interesting there may be an issue on the iPhone. Stupid question, but did you try rebooting? I know Verizon phones had a lot of PB 1 issues... maybe they carried over to PB 2.

I have tried rebooting a few times, but still no go.

I suppose the next step is to try a restore, but I'm not sure if I can be bothered to do that just yet

Update

Got this working again. I killed the Music app in App Switcher, went to Settings, Music and Switched off the Use Cellular Data option. Then I switched it back on again and the radio started working.

Odd that this affected it on WiFi as well, but glad I have it working again now

Glad you were able to figure it out and fix it.

Interestingly enough, my News app works fine today.

iOS 9 PB 2 really urks me. I mean yeah I know it's a beta not meant to be used on daily driver it's just as the newer betas come out one only expects more stabilization. I mean iOS 9 PB 2 is significantly more buggy. It's slow-apps freeze or hang upon launch, or they don't work properly. My notifications are delayed, and MUSIC Beats 1 Radio consistently says I'm disconnected and to connect to Internet and it's just super slow. I'm gonna revert back I'm annoyed.

I see a lot of you commenting on apps that aren't working but what about overall stability?

So far it's been very good. I've had a couple of random reboots on the phone, but that's just the Apple logo appearing for about 5 seconds and the phone carries on as normal afterwards.

Other than that and the issue with the radio on Music, it's been perfectly fine. Very occasionally I get a stutter in an animation or a small lag in operation but I'm happy to carry on as my daily driver on my iPhone 6 and iPad Air 2
