Its a new color, it will sell very well. Just like last years Green, Many (Including me) go for the new colors because we are sick of the 3 basic colors Apple has offered for years.

It will sell like hotcakes and will slip quickly. The variety is necessary because clearly there are are those of us who are over the basic 3 colors that have been around forever.

I like the colour, but I wish it was more saturated, like on iPhone 12. The real question is: does the phone become invisible if you drop it in the Pacific Ocean?
