I wasn't sure if to put this in the iOS16 forum but it used to happen on occasion with another iP on iOS14/15.

Basically the 13 Mini (iOS16) quite easily enters the edit (jiggle) mode on the home screen. My OG SE used to do it on occasion whilst putting it in the back pocket. The Mini however more often. Example: walking with ph in hand, looking at the screen and just the pure act of turning it over (facing the ground), sometimes initiates the editing mode. Note that I'm no where near actually touching the screen. I obviously become aware of it immediately due to the haptic feedback and before I accidentally delete any Apps (easily done).

I wish there was a way to lock the screen to prevent this coming on or that perhaps on only the 2nd tap of the home screen it would activate the editing screen.

Any thoughts or experience with this?

Hey I have a mini13 as well, great phone.

This happens all the time, I'll pull the phone out of pocket or flip it over on the car seat and that stupid theme selection screen will be active. This is the worst thing about the entire phone/setup/software.

The lock screen should be a lock screen, nothing more.

Maybe we have to write to Apple?

My hopes aren't high, seeing as iOS 16 is no longer the greatest and latest. But yes, I'll still do it. Is this the correct site for it? https://www.apple.com/feedback/
