IP Cam <vs bluetooth> as primary webcam on mac mini

Just got a used Mac Mini late 2009 running 10.11.6 El Capitan. Is it possible to use an IP Cam as my primary webcam for facetime. Facetime on the Mac for full screen display on my Sony Bravia TV is why i bought the Mac Mini. If possible is there software for this? The IP cam references "Ismartviewpro" app for install but not meant for Mac.

OR should i just get a bluetooth cam?
