iPad 10.5 - No Smart Keyboard / Silicone Back Case Combo?

What's the thoughts on whether or not Apple will still release a silicone case, back cover for the IPP 10.5 as they have with the 9.7. I was hoping to pick this up, in combo with the Smart Keyboard for full protection. I am sure there will be third party back cases that will work with the Smart Keyboard but I was hoping to go all Apple for my case needs this time around.

I'm wondering how hot these new iPads will run. Might explain the lack of an official back cover.

I doubt they would release the product if they would run hot enough to not be able to contain back case coverage

I wouldn't doubt it at all. The iPad 3 ran quite hot. Faster processors (especially the new one) and still the same passive cooling. Just a guess. Won't know for sure until they are in users' hands. Have you felt how hot the bottom of their "laptops" can get?

I use this combo on my 12.9, very happy with it since the ASK is easily detachable
There was no back cover available when 12.9 came out either, back cover and some other accessories came out a while later

Good to know. Hopefully that will be the case with the 10.5
