You’ll be fine! Wow that’s a serious upgrade! Your gonna be blown away. I’d say go for it. I’m impressed by how long people keep there iPads. I keep reading about people still using, or thinking about upgrading a nearly 5 year old iPad.

Well, buy what inspires you. The product does come with a warranty, just in case. Plus, Amazon has a return policy too. Life is too short to spend it with worries.
 
Found an 11” 64GB on Craigslist for 650 including a nice Speck case. Offered 550 and it was accepted. It’s in perfect condition. Can’t believe my luck. Absolutely love this device. Came from a 9.7” pro bought in 2016

I bought a iPad Pro 11” 64GB unlocked cellular for $600, and this was around early January. Considering they were still recently released, and are still $949 it really was a deal. No case though lol.

It was my first iPad ever! I’ve become addicted, and have since moved on.

You can find good deals on Craigslist, and see some of the worst deals too lol.

March 29 2016 is when I purchased my pro 9.7 I checked on apples site..

Wow has it really been that long...Guess I am due for one due to the fact im on my ipad all day long

Didn’t they release the 9.7” nearly a year later than the 1st gen 12.9”?

Hard to believe the 1st gen 12.9 from 2015 had 4GB of ram!

Like 4-5 months, I think? I’m actually glad for that since we got 256GB simultaneously as lower capacities. I’ve seen several posters who bought the 128GB Pro 12.9 and regretted it when the 256GB Pro 12.9 became available the same time as the Pro 9.7.
 
I would do the same, problem is on Europe Amazon is not offering such deals. Yes, it is 70€ less expensive, but still over the 800€ mark. Extremely expensive.

I had one for the 14 days Apple offers to try it out. And overall I was pretty satisfied, albeit I found a bit messy the file management and importing files from other sources aside from the cloud. But I was able to do 90% of my tasks even better than on a MacBook pro.

I would go for a 13" MacBook Pro/Air but currently is a bad moment to make such investment, so the 11" iPad Pro is the way to go on my opinion. Also, super portable. The most portable pro device.

I'll keep waiting to see if Amazon offers such deals in Europe. By the way, do you think such deals mean Apple could release a new Pro sooner than later?

I've been thinking about upgrading from the same iPad Pro 9.7. I've had it less than 3 years & it's still great tho!

11" or 12.9" is a hard decision. Just the 11" might be a great upgrade.
 
I’m really ruminating over whether it’s time to upgrade my 9.7 pro and take advantage of the sale. It’s probably not gonna get upgraded until 2020 but there’s nothing wrong with my current iPad. I love everything about the new Pro’s but I wish there was a jet black version.

The new 2018 Space Grey is much darker, but I can understand what you say, I don't quite like that Space Grey shade on 2018 iPad Pros. I prefer the silver.

I think it's well worth it, especially at that price.

I had mine ordered but amazon takes 10 years to ship and in the mean time I changed my mind and canceled..I think the 2020 pro will remedy a lot of the negative aspects of the 11

I absolutely love my ipad 11, I dont see any negatives aspects =)
however depending on your use 64g might not is not be a lot
