Yahoo Mail won’t display menus list (inbox, sent, archive, etc.) after updating to 13.1. Deleted app and reinstalled from App Store, but still not working.

Never mind! Yahoo Mail started working after a few minutes.
 
Then it’s doing you a favor. It’s been hacked an innumerable amount of times and it forces you to PAY to remove ads from your inbox (was he contents of which it searches for more advertising). Take this opportunity to peace out!

Attempted to use Yahoo Mail again with no luck! Before the latest update my Yahoo Mail worked fine: set to dark mode and menus would drop down to give access to all folders. After the update I got the attached screen shot. I can send from this screen with my email address automatically displayed in the “from”, and I can receive and open mail on this screen. However, the menu access in the upper left corner does not respond so I can’t view sent, archived or any other folders. I deleted the Yahoo Mail app and redownloaded but nothing changed. I’ve switched to my Apple Mail to access my Yahoo Mail and all folders of my Yahoo Mail are visible.

The same problem occurred with my wife’s Yahoo Mail on her iPad except her’s retained the dark mode, but like on my iPad her Yahoo Mail drop down menu does not work.

Not sure what's up with people posting 'It works fine for me' on just about every issue thread. It works for you? Good for you. That is not even remotely helpful.

OP, I wish you luck trying to fix it, but I do ask that you consider leaving Yahoo Mail permanently as it has been hacked repeatedly.

It is helpful, actually. It helps a user to know whether it’s just them or an issue that everyone is having.

I thought this would be a wide spread problem since it occurs on both my wife’s and my iPads with the only difference is that her’s retained the dark mode and mine didn’t.

ALSO, When I access Yahoo Mail through “My Yahoo” it works fine - menu opens and dark mode is on. It’s just the Yahoo Mail for iPad that’s not working.

UPDATE: Yahoo posted an update to their mail app in the Apple App Store yesterday (9/26). I downloaded the update and my Yahoo Mail is back to normal.
