I was doing a chatgpt survey and suddenly it started powering off and on even though it was plugged into a power cord. (Power cord was fine with my old ipad) I was chatting to Apple on my other, older ipad, suddenly Chrome died and said it couldn't reinstall Chrome, try later.

It resolved when I unplugged it to attach to my computer but what a strange morning.

Is this AI virus, Apple update?

what should I do now? Ipad has plenty of storage and is only 2 years old

I am struggling to understand the behavior of your iPad(s). Can you post some pictures? What iPad model is it? What iPadOS is on it? Did you try different chargers? Etc

2019 iPad Pro updating older macbook air to try it on that. Tried different cords, ports. Updated regular year old MacBook Pro to Sonoma to try and restore my IPad Pro

If it’s turning on and off and showing a red screen the logic board is broken. Nothing to do with a virus. Time to buy a new iPad or seek a replacement through Apple (if the device is out of warranty it would be cheaper to buy a new one in the long run).

Updating didn’t help. I’m trying to bring my order Mac up to Monterrey to try it. We will see. People are saying an A to C cable works but not so far. After updating to Sonoma it Looked like it might work for 20 min, with an A cable but no go.

Craziest thing ever! I was pricing iPad pros because mine would not restore. (Gulp) tried at least 10 times!
I went through so many Reddit's and searches. Tried cords and updating both computers.... no restore
Then one crazy site said use the headphone trick. Plug manual, headphones into the iPad unplug and then try to restore. Low and behold it worked! So I am a happy Thanksgivinger right now!!
