iPad 2 as a wifi hotspot

If I jailbreak my iPad 2 can it become a wifi hotspot with MyWi ? This question is not often addressed in forums and I have seen conflicting answers in the two discussions I found. I don't want the risks of JailBreak the iPad if it can't be a hotspot. Anybody know for sure.

Did you even try Google?

A search for "mywi ipad" give this page as the first hit (the developer's site):

Which has this listed:

"Create an iPhone® WiFi HotSpot or iPad® WiFi HotSpot"

theres no jailbreak if youve updated your iPad2 to iOS 5...... if youre still on 4.3.3, then you can do an untethered jailbreak from http://www.jailbreakme.com

ah, I knew there was an iOS 5 Jailbreak, and it said iPad, didn't realise it didn't include iPad 2, but apparently there is an iPad 2/iPhone 4s iOS 5 Jailbreak, its just not quite ready for release yet, so it shouldn't be long.
