iPad Ipad 2018 frontal camera:is it so bad?

I got the iPad 6 and I’m using a glass protector on the screen which is without the hole for the frontal camera(since reviews on Amazon states that this doesn’t have any bad impact). But I took some selfies and they looks like really low quality. When I see myself on the screen is way better but once I take pictures they look blurry. Could it be the glass or is the camera?
