iPad 2018: How do you give a visual + audio out for presentations?

Im considering the new iPad. One of the uses for the iPad is to give occasional presentations using a projector also including audio. Without the audio jack how do I go about this? I see Apple has a USB-c to HDMI dongle but it lacks an audio jack.

I need to send the audio to a sound system which is usually set up separately. Are you
Suggesting run to audio through the projector and out to the sound system?

If the projector allows it. Sorry, can't be more help. I've only connected to TVs and those have built-in speakers.

Does the projector have an audio out? I think mine did years ago. It also has a built in speaker as well

HDMI from iPad to stereo, stereo HDMI to projector/TV ... really same as any other system ...
