Hello everyone I have just purchased a new iPad 2020 pro 12.9 inch this is my second one as the previous one had a fault. When I make a FaceTime video calls to people the sound is extremely strange going quieter then suddenly louder. Sometimes the sound goes extremely tin and then sounding like an alien speaking I was wondering if this is a problem with my iPad Pro?

Restart the iPad. If that doesn’t help, make sure you have a strong and solid WiFi and or cellular connection. You can also try reset all settings. If that doesn’t work, set up as new.

Could the other recipient be at fault?

With all due respect, why don’t you call Apple support about this? If they determine it’s faulty, they’ll send you a new one.

This. Perform some troubleshooting basics and call them if it’s not working. Make sure to eliminate potential issues on other people’s side.
