This is my first post on here. I have a iPad 2nd gen screen that comes up red when I try to use it. It's not a blank red. It's a red screen that is very distorted then it will cut back to off/black screen. I can hold the power button and see a very distorted 'Slide to power' option to turn it off. I can use that function. However, if you didn't know that's what it was, you wouldn't be able to make out what it says.
What is there for me to do? I thought it may be the digitizer ? I want to make sure there isn't littler stuff I can do before taking that step.
