It was mentioned in the keynote when they announced the model that it has good hardware for gaming and they showed a few things back then that were already on the console before.

At the end of the day, what good or bad does it do it the console has more gaming power? ;)

Now let's get Apple Arcade up and going and some decent titles to work with!

It's the Xbox One S.

It all comes down to developers. They need to get their hands wet and put the iPad Pro to the limit.

NBA 2K does looks like amazing. As does Fortnite, PUBG.

I need to see Rockstar Games showcasing GTA SA, GTA IV, hell i'll take GTA V. COD Mobile is going to be fun.

GTA 4 and 5 would be amazing. Those are x360 games originally, so they should run well, now with controller support, wow, I need those games. :D

Forget about it. Xbox One X can run games in 4k @ 60 fps.

In Windows, you need very powerful hardware to do the same thing, so Windows is really bad at gaming.

OS X is even more terrible in gaming as games run alot better in Windows.

So what makes you think that an iPad can do the same thing as a xbox in gaming while it is not optimized for gaming also?

I love my Xbox but I don't find it that powerful compared to even a mid range PC. For example I play Forza 7 on my i3 with a 1050 and it looks better than on my Xbox. I wouldn't be surprised if the new iPads are similarly powered.
