iPad 3G + Battery Performance Thread

Hey guys,

So we got our magical devices in hand I got mine today at 1PM EST (pre-order)

When mine arrived I activated the 3G immediately, but I noticed that the battery got drained pretty fast. I am doing a full charge now so I can really test it.

Anyone else noticed this as well? How long has your battery latest using 3G?

I turned mine on when I got it at 12:30. It's 2:00am and I haven't turned it off since I got it. I am at 13% with over 13 hours of use. I am in love.

No, sorry. Wifi only. Tomorrow I will be out of wifi range so I will be able to compare.

Yea! I wanna see the real difference between wifi and 3g, how many actual hours we can get out of these things. I noticed that it drained even more when I turned VPN on.

I've had mine on nearly nonstop since 6:30pm and it's now 2:00am (7 1/2 hours)... My battery is at 40% right now. That's running with wifi only.

I got around 9-10 hours out of mine using 3G all day.
