iPad 3G - charge battery first thing?

New to MacRumors. I preordered the iPad 3G to be delivered to my house on April 30th.

Will the iPad be delivered with full battery charge? Or do I need to charge it first thing? Does Apple recommend we wait until battery is 0% before doing full charge? I'm just trying to schedule my day for April 30.

My WiFi iPad delivered fully charged, as did all others I heard from here in the forum. You should be good to go when you receive it. You do have to do a sync to iTunes, and transfer over any apps or videos you want, and that takes a few minutes. I was fully up and running in about 30 minutes after signing for the package.

apples says to let it go to 0 before a charge.

My WiFi was fully charged when I received it and I played with it all day before charging it.
