I am getting an iPad 3G from the US & A, I was wondering if it will work in UK without any jailbraking? Is the iPad unlocked?

Yes, it'll work just fine. You'll have to get a (free) microsim from either O2, Orange, Vodafone or Three though. Your US iPad will come with an AT&T microsim.
