does the 3g ipad have a removeable sim that could be put in a different ipad for 3g access ? just curious as I was contemplating getting 2 of the 3g models but don't want/need 2 3g accounts, however i would like to be able to use the service on either unit when i want to. sorry if this was asked I didn't see anything on it.

I would expect that to work. I don't have access to another 3G iPad right now or I would test it out (I'm curious now too).

I'm more curious about the double-perforated SIM's from AT&T.

I have a AT&T USB 3G modem (from my employer for my laptop) and would like to be able swap the SIM between the USB modem and my (not yet delivered) iPad 3G.

Actually, these guys seem to have it figure out:

I have a 3G modem sim that I cut down and it works in my iPad. You just have to change the APN to wap.cingular.
