Well, I was just wondering about what the rumors have been saying about the ipad's os4 and what you all think about the new software the iPad should be getting pretty soon

So, will/should the iPad get a different os4 than what the iPod and iPhone have now?

Or could the iPad get a totally new, more laptop-like os?
(just a thought)

there hasn't even been a preview yet so no one knows. hopefully it'll be out next month.
 
You obviously want opinions in my opinion the OS will have something that will make it stand out over its smaller Cousins.
And most likely small implementations of things that make the OS more iPad original then just having it look like it was ported (as a example)
 
I was hoping this was someone asking if they should wait for the ipad 4 to come out before purchasing!! :p
 
My biggest fear in this area is that the update "bricks" the iPad in the same way as it "bricked" my iPhone 3G. Ok, memory on iPad should be more, but still I will wait some days before press the update button. Ok, that's not true; I'm sure to press the button as soon this page tells me the update is online :rolleyes:
