ipad 4.2 gm install issue

i'm trying to install 4.2 gm i put my ipad in dfu mode, then shift-restore to select the file.

the install goes about 60 % thru and appears to just hang there. im using itunes 10.02 but i don't think thats the issue. i just have the apple logo with the progress bar about 60-65% of the way thru.

any ideas what would cause this ?

You need iTunes 10.1 beta in order for it to work.
