iPad 4 says iOS 9.3.5 is the latest update??

I'm trying to update my iPad 4 to iOS 10, but software update says "iOS 9.3.5 Your software is up to date"???

Perhaps you have a beta profile installed on it?

You will need to update to 9.3.5 first. Once you do, 10.0.1 will show up. I did this on a couple of our devices as well.

Oh sure enough. I read that too fast. Then yeah, all I can think of is your same comment about a beta profile or something. The iPad 4 should be compatible with 10.

Are you sure you have an iPad 4? In Settings -> General -> about, what does it tell you for model number?
