iPad ipad 5 starting up problem

i have a ipad 5 ios 12.3.1 when i power on i get the apple logo for about 5 sec and then black screen i then have to press the the power button down and the turn off slider comes on with the cancel i then have to press cancel and then everything comes on showing all apps but some apps dont work i the have to hold down power button and home button down screen goes off apple logo comes on goes off then i have to press home button and all comes on again and all apps work,,,i have to do this all the time its a pain,,i have done a factory reset and set up as new but its still the same ...has anyone had this problem and is there a fix..this allways happens when i switch off ipad so up to now i leave it on to save going thru all that above..

This sounds off. I recommend you also talk with Apple Support.
You shouldn’t have to force restart your iPad all the time - heck, it’s not even normal to switch these devices off anymore - just leave them on and connect to a charger when needed.

Bring it to an Apple Store.

yes i did a factory reset and restore....am out of warranty aswell

If have not updated ny iOS after buy my iPad with the except of the recent iOS 12.01 for Mini 2 and Mini 4!
