Is the 6th Gen iPad wireless charging capable? I have an iPad Mini 4 and want to go to a 9.7" screen for better reading as I get older-I have a LOT of books. I have no interest in the "Pro" ipad, my wants are simple.

Nope. None of the iPads have wireless charging capabilities.

Wireless charging is not suitable for such huge battery. There’s a very good chance of over heating and it’ll take way too long to charge that battery with current QI technology. It’s not feasible.

My iPad Pro 10,5 takes about 4-5 hours to charge to 100% from dead using the included 12W adapter. I couldn’t imagine waiting for a wireless 7.5W charger to do the same thing.
