Thinking of picking up an iPad 9th gen. One of the uses would be to do banking, whereas I'd have to take a
'photo' of the checks. My question is would the iPad 9th gen not be a good choice as I believe it doesn't have a
flash ? Would a different model with a flash be a better choice for this purpose ?

I haven’t had any cheques lately, and thus the only iPad I have used to pay them in was the Mini 5 with no flash. No problems at all. If you think that a photo is not good enough you can redo it before you submit, move the cheque near to a window to get more light etc. The rear camera on the iPad 9 is, I believe, the same as the Mini 5 (8MP.)

The Mini 6 is the only non-pro iPad with the flash.

In good lighting condition, there will be no problems.

Been scanning documents since I had an IPad 5 gen so ipad 9 can get the job done.

Now I’m using my mini 5 and sometimes my Air 4 and that works fine. (None of them have flash).

Thanks guys, I was under the impression that I might need a flash to get a clear shot.
Nice to know I can grab any model and get good results.
