iPad aero effects

Is it just me or does the iPad lock screen incorporate some windows aero affects? Like when you plug it in you see the battery symbol surrounded by "glass" also when your unlocking it with a password the window fades back like Aero transitions in windows. Don't get me wrong it's different then aero it just looks similar and I'm not a big fan of windows so it doesn't matter I'm just wondering if it's only me who sees it

All of the UI candy aero had was OS X copycat.

Are you serious firefly? This isn't supposed to be an aero vs aqua debate cause I can tell you right now I like both ui's a lot (well maybe aqua a tad bit more) I would have said aqua but aero is known for aero glass aqua isn't. So sorry
