IPad Air 13 dimming on its own. not overheating..

So I know this can happen when a device is overheating but mine is for sure not. Its feels slightly warm, not charging and just browsing Online. All auto brightness settings are off. Adjusting from about 75% to max brightness does nothing.

This is a new iPad Air 13 and I should note I am running beta iPadOS 18.

Any help would be appreciated.

EDIT: Restarted, went bright again and then dimmed about 30 seconds in..

My new iPad Pro M4 13" doing the same thing on latest 18.1, keeps dimming after a few minutes
I've set everything never and restarted, not running hot
Hopefully just a thing gets fixed in next update
