Hello,

I've noticed my iPad Air 2 is struggling with battery lately. Not to long ago, it could be in standby for a week+ with hardly any drain. Now, it can't. Any solutions?

Batteries are consumables. Capacity goes down with age and use. It's either replace the battery or replace the iPad.

Here too, after over 4 years of daily use. Besides the battery it’s still a very fine unit. Today I got the Air 3 because apple doesn’t replace the battery it replaces the compete unit for 99 euros. That was not worth it for me, cause I think iOS 13 will be the last for the Air 2 so only one year to go.

Yeah, I just loaded iPadOS Public Beta in my Air 2, and I am impressed by how smooth it is, but I do see apps being dropped a lot more vs. iOS 12, I to believe that iOS 13 will be the last for it, I don’t think it can keep going after this, but let’s wait and see if Apple deem it for to run iOS 14 to, as it does have 2GB RAM, so if the iPhone 6S gets iOS 14 I guess the iPad Air 2 will get it to.

My Air 2 is also struggling with battery, got it back in 2016, so I am not surprised.
