wife was nice to me and swapped iPads as i use my iPad 4 all the time and she uses her iPad air 2 as an alarm clock.

so ive gone into settings and pressed software update and it updates to 10.3.3 and then tells me my iPad is up to date.

i google and find the apple page about updating and press the button to update to 11, and it opens settings which again tells me that 10.3.3 is the best i can do.

plug it into iTunes which correctly tells me its an iPad air 2, 59.61gb capacity, model identifier ipad5,3 and says iOS 10.3.3 your iPad software is up to date..

there was a beta profile so i deleted that. same problem. weirdly on the iPad it kept offering me the latest 10.3 update despite it being installed, and when i pressed install it would tell me it couldn't verify it as i wasnt connected to the internet, which i was

so bit bullet and reset everything. all fine now and on 11.02
