After I changed the battery on my iPad Air 2 I noticed that the adhesive tape I used doesn't make the screen flush with the body.
It sits maybe a 0.2 mm to low, besides the area to the right of the home button which is "popping" a bit up.

I seems like all the pre-cut strips etc. are all crap, they are too thin and lack the power to keep the screen on.

So what would be the best solution, gluing is not an option since I most likely will change the battery again down the road.

Is there a tape that is close to the one that apple use? (I've ordered some Tesa 61395, hopefully that will do)

Bring it to Apple and have them do it.

Looks like the lack of primer is a major cause in these screens lifting.
Ordered some 3M Tape Primer 94 and some Tesa 63195 tape (i think it's 200μm thick), hopefully this will ensure a flush and lasting fit 😀

I now got it done right :). used the primer and tape listed above, also tucked the cellular antenna closer to the battery so there is less pressure on the screen. If I'm changing the battery again I would make certain that these antenna cables are placed correctly.
