iPad Air 2, edit SlideOver apps?

Is there anyway to edit the apps that appear in Slideover options? I really Game Center, Tips, and a number of the apps that appear there. One can press and hold and the app icon shrinks, but doesn't seem to be editable, even the positions can't be manipulated. What's up?

It definitely needs away to remove apps but at this time you can't remove the apps from slide over without deleting the app.
