Long story short: My mom recently passed away. I have the iPad I bought for her. I have the receipt (bought from Verizon), and the device is still on my Verizon data account.
I don't know the password she had on the iPad so I wiped it. Now I'm stuck at the activation lock screen.
Will an Apple store help with this? The Verizon receipt is garbage - just a model and date purchased. No serial #. Has anyone experienced an activation lock bypass if they didn't buy the iPad from Apple?
