What would you prefer: a used iPad Air 3 w/o any white spots or a used iPad Pro 10.5 that may have a single white spot? Both the same price.

Same everything else (condition, storage, wif/lte, etc)?

If everything else is the same, I'd go Air 3.

? I would even buy a plain iPad w/o white spot than a pro with. Once you saw it you can’t unsee it. So go for the Air 3.

Ok, I guess that sums it up: a white spot is truly a deal breaker.

My wife and I lucked out - neither of our 10.5s had the dreaded white spot but we really didn't use our iPads heavily. I'd go with the Air 3.

I've got both (Pro 10.5 512GB LTE & Air 3 256GB LTE) and neither have a white spot. *knock on wood*

I consider myself a pretty heavy user (time-wise). I primarily read dark text on light background in dimly lit rooms. Because of that, brightness is usually 15% or lower (often 0% with Reduce White Point at 60-80%) so maybe that reduces my chances of encountering the issue.
