I don't think its worth worrying about. The thread linked below is worth checking out.How many people still have this problem? I really wanted to buy this iPad but I just don’t know if I should or not.. it’s very tempting but I really don’t wanna deal with the white spot issues.
In terms of physical dimensions, the 10.2" iPad, 10.5" iPad Air and 11" iPad Pro are all very similar. If you think the 11" is too big, then so are the 10.2" and 10.5".yeah idk, a lot of people have white spots on Reddit. I want to buy the pro 11 but idk if it’s too big or not (watching movies in bed etc holding iPad with one hand on my side)
If you want an Air 3, buy an Air 3. Odds are it will be perfectly fine. If it isn't, Apple will replace it.
yeah well I wouldn’t be able to do that now because of corona so

Yeah but how long does it take for them to get the device then send me a replacement lol? I rather go in the store if anything then do that. But hopefully I don’t have to do that anyway.... so you’d mail it in.
How old was your original Air 3?just yesterday I replaced my Air Gen 3 at the Apple Store. White spot appeared a week ago. To be honest, I only noticed it when scrolling a page with an off white background. Smaller than the size of a pencil eraser tip, not well defined. Kinda fuzzy. I actually thought it was just a dirty screen.
I had an appointment, masked up, had temp check, walked in, 5 min later walked out with replacement. No questions, small banter talk with emp. I don’t have apple care. I think there might be something to the rumor it may be a battery issue. He said they don’t even run diagnostics on the issue anymore.

Any idea of manufacturing date?
Just trying to figure out if it happens only in early 2019 units?
