Hello everyone, today I noticed that my iPad is producing an almost continuous sound while the screen is on, it’s a faint but concerning trimmer-like-sound, that also changes in frequency. I can hear it very clearly when I put my ear close to one of the bottom speakers, left side of the charging port to be exact. The sound only goes away when I lock the screen or turn it off, but appears again as soon as I unlock or turn the screen back on, and won’t stop again until I lock or turn off the screen.
Do you people have any idea what that is, any guesses? Have any of you experienced the same, and is it dangerous to use the iPad while it’s making that sound? It’s out of warranty and I don’t pay Apple care, so I won’t be exchanging or repairing (in case it needs it) my unit as soon as I’d like. Just curious about the sound, as I never experienced this with my previous two iPads, both minis.
