iPad iPad air 4 has very strong magnets!

I made a slight miscalculation in that I have a desk pad from IKEA that has a metal back. The iPad seems to glue itself to this metal surface whenever I set it down flat on my desk, does anyone else have this problem?

Internally, the iPad has a lot of magnets, so that’s why.

Strong magnets, eh? Could be of benefit in an earthquake, but I'm much tempted by the A4 and now I'm wondering if the magnets could conceivably affect my pacemaker if I happen to hold the device to my chest. Nobody wants to get switched off when they've just bought a new toy.
