Hello all, I’m having a little situation here with an iPad I ordered from the apple store not too long ago. Yesterday, it was brought to my attention that my iPad is noticeably blurry compared to my brother‘s of the same model, now, I did notice mine did not look very good from the moment I set it up, my mini’s and previous gen Air‘s look better to me, but I thought maybe this model just looks like this, well, it turns out it doesn’t, so that’s a little bit of a problem. I can still return it since it does look wonky, but I would be getting another model, however. My brother returned his twice before getting an acceptable one, he said the first one was bent out of the box and had very bad backlight bleed, proper duff looking thing, and the second one was once again bent, though less than the first one, and had greyish whites and a pinky tinted screen, suffice to say I don’t want to do that myself. But, I’d like to know if there’s a way to know why my screen looks like that, does my unit pack a lower quality screen, is it the ppi, and is there an easy way to measure that? The screen resolution, that is. I found a site or online tool, that supposedly checks your screen resolution and I got 820x1180, that doesn’t seem correct to me, is it?
Also, I should add that it has, I’d say subtle backlight bleed, though I’ve seen worse. And my iPad is markedly lighter and feels more round to the touch, my brother’s is definitely sharper or edged. There‘s proper inconsistency with this model.
