I really want the new iPad Air 4th generation, and I have a 10% off coupon at Best Buy that’s good till the end of the month. Anyone know if there’s going to be an online Black Friday deal for new iPads, such as a free case or accessory with purchase? If so, should I wait for the Black Friday deal or go with the 10% off coupon this month?

For Best Buy members, it's advertising Black Friday pricing now, and if the price goes lower on Black Friday, it will refund the difference.

Oh nice! Didn't see that, thanks. Do you think that would include if there was a free item involved, like a case or accessory?
I'm not sure what you mean. If it's free, it can't go lower in price. Maybe you meant something different?

At this point I think I'm just confusing everyone; I'll take a wait and see approach. Thank you everyone for trying to help.

Maybe there's just a minor misunderstanding that is setting everybody back?
At the core of my question, I just wanted opinions on if I should buy it now while I still have the coupon deal, or wait for a possible deal just as good on black Friday.

One thing to keep in mind is the fine print. Please correct me if I'm wrong but from what I can tell the refund is applicable only for items that are marked as "Black Friday Price Guaranteed" at the time of purchase. Currently the iPads are not marked as such but other items that are directly accessible from the ad on their site are (with the little yellow banners on the upper left corner of the product pictures when viewing a product's page).

Thanks, fine print is always a matter to keep in mind.

Is that the 10 percent coupon that you got for having the best buy credit card and expires on October 31st? If its the same one I tried applying it to my order(just to see if it would work) and weird thing is that it said the code expired

I activated the 10% coupon, then read the fine print. Among a laundry list of brands and items that are excluded, “Excludes Apple products” was first of the list. What has to be at least half of Best Buys high price in-store stock is listed. Always the fine print, smh

yeah pretty much everything is excluded(Thanks best buy LOL) apple products are always excluded but sometimes when you call to place an order you can get a nice person on the other end willing to cut you some slack and just apply the discount..I put in the code at checkout just to see if it would work(I have the LG CX 55 inch tv in cart) and it just says code expired which is nuts since it doesnt expire til october 31st

You're right, I had the same issue. I looked at the fine print on the coupon and the brands and products listed as excluded take up about half of the actual fine print. Apple was first on the list, LG tvs were listed, and everything else listed is possibly about half of their in-store inventory.

Yeah good news is if you want a hard drive its not excluded LOL..I always get the birthday coupon every year for my birthday(August) everything is excluded, same issue..so it always ends up being wasted. A few yrs back it worked on the macbook pro but not anymore, excluded

Just got an automatic email from best buy credit card now telling me they sent me the wrong code and gave me a new one, same expiration date, you probably got the same email

Yeah gotta love best buy exclusions, which is everything :(

Was worth a shot but I guess I’m not surprised. If manufacturers leave so little room for profit margins after the cost to stock their items on shelves there’s nothing retailers can do other than to exclude the products.

That's true, I guess the full blame can't be laid at Best Buys feet. Still sucks though.
