iPad Air iPad Air | Family Shared Books Not Showing

Hey,

my girlfriend just got an iPad Air 4 today. We use family sharing, everything works fine on her iPhone but when she opens the Books app, clicks family purchases and clicks on my name, it says there are 3 books but when she clicks it says there is nothing.

Any ideas?

We’ve checked settings and all is on (and it works on her iPhone)

If you JUST got it, it can take awhile for purchased books to show. I had this recently as I set up several new iPads this year.

I've got almost 300 books in iBooks and some are purchased under other accounts in my family account. They don't show until 3-4 hours after I set up the iPad for whatever reason.

Give it time, they'll show up. Keep the iPad plugged in - that helps the sync process.

It's definitely disconcerting to open Apple Books and only see a quarter of the books I know I own. (initially). LOL.
