Hello,
I've got an iPad Air with iOS 9.3.5, is there a way I can jailbreak my iPad? Should I update to iOS 11?
 
There is no jailbreak for your device right now.

There IS a jailbreak for 9.3.5 called PhoenixPWN, but it's for 32-bit devices only and the iPad Air is a 64-bit device.
