iPad Air Logitech Keyboard Cover for Air 2?

Hi all,

Apparently the iPad Air verison of Logitech's Ultrathin keyboard cover is very popular, but the one designed for iPad Air 2 is not. They've changed the mechanism by which the cover connects to the iPad's magnets, making for an unwieldy design. Does anybody happen to have the older version (for the first Air) who would be able to test it with the Air 2 to see if it works? I'm guessing the stand part of the cover might not work because of the difference in thickness between the Air and Air 2. Has anyone tried?
