Ok, i'm quite experienced with LCD and most of its well known issues (light bleed, dark edges, bad white uniformity etc.).
I now have a new iPad Air M2 11" with a quite good calibration and uniformity, no backlight bleeding and w/o any flaws in build quality.
The only thing that drives my crazy is a faint shadow line along the complete left edge in portrait mode (ca. 1 mm from the edge). I automatically focus my eyes on it.

I hope you can see it in the pic. It is hard to capture it on an iPhone photo.
Is this a typical iPad Air 4,5,6 issue or is there a good chance to get one without?

Did you get a replacement? If so, was it any better? I have the m1 air, no issues here
I got my money back and will not buy another iPad M2.
I had some negative experiences with building quality, screen and battery before. So i will not buy another iPad Air on the actual base (Air 4-6).
An iPad pro would shure be nice but is by far oversized for my use cases (www, some music apps, streaming, homebanking, gaming etc.).
So maybe i wait for the new iPad (11).
